Foregrip Questions

I am going to buy a gas through foregrip for my 'Mag (classic), but I noticed that all the pics show a threaded screw in thing at the top of the grip as a way to connect it to the frame.

The mag doesn't have a place to screw it in, so how does it attach?

the body rail on the mag has a hole in the front for the screw to go into the vertical adapter. to get to the body rail, you must take out the valve, then the mainbody.
