Super bad bolt stick! Somebody Help!

Hey guys listen up. I posted somethin about this in april for my Rt pro. I have taken the summer off so dont ask questions of why imdoin this again now. My rt has a problem with bolt sticking. I've tried everything except callin tech support. Orings spacers, u name it. I just cant get the thing to work.


When i screw in my tank the bolt goes half way forward and air leaks out of the gun through the barrel. I tried to push the bolt back and it leaks even more.

Any input would be greatly appreciated especially from and agd techs that are lurking about.

hold the trigger when you gas it up.... the valve needs to have a quick burst of air to seal every thing.... also put a drop or 2 of oil into your air line to push through that valve to help lube everything up and help it to seal

once the air is completly turned on then release the trigger quickly... (best to do with the barrel off) and fire teh mag untill the oil spray is pretty much gone....

once gone put your barrel back on and see if you still get bolt stick

The sear is fine i just checked it. I'll try your idea virus it might work.

Ok i just tried it. IT didnt work. I figured something else out. The bolt get sucked back in after i shut the gas off. The air still leaks out just like it did before.

Any other ideas???

Change your bolt spring.

Is it a level 7 or level 10 bolt?

Does it leak when you gas it up with the trigger pulled (BEFORE you release the trigger). If so, it is probably a problem in the on/off. Change the orings and oil everything.

You (or someone else) didn't change the length of the trigger rod, did they?

Thanks guys, I had to call tech and I'm sending my gun in so theycan look at it. He had me try and push the bolt back while i gassed up and holfd the trigger. When i let off the bolt it leaked still so i dunno.

They can try to fix it.
