ANS phase II 8 hole mod?

I was talking to one of my friends and he told me he has this mod in his Minimag. He also said it makes a huge differance in performance. I found it on Drop Zone Paintball's website for $40 and was wondering what other people that have the mod think about it? Is it worth the 40 bucks or would my money be spent better elsewhere?

    Thanks in advance.

You're friend's in denial. He doesn't want to admit he spent $40 for nothing. Keep the stock valve, its the best it gets, anything else is just a waste of money (apart from AGD sanctioned upgrades - ReTro, Intelliframe, bla bla bla)

The ANS part is a really nice...paperweight

The ANS valve does exactly NOTHING. Money is much better spent elsewhere. Keep AGD internals.

The 8 hole mod used to make a difference on older valves where the holes in the front and rear halves of the valves did not line up. All newer valves after a certain serial number are ok. AGD made sure the holes lined up a long time ago so it hasn't been problem for quite a while.

Even if you did have one of the old valves, you can drill a new hole in the valve back yourself, and save the $40.00.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

The pmi perfect charger shouldn't hurt performance, but it doesn't really help over a stock valve back. That's just the hype machine.

AGD machines the PMI Perfect Charger to AGD specs, so it won't cause any performance issues.
