Persistant leaking down the barrel with LVL 10 and RT Valve.

I am having a couple of problems that just won't go away for good. I have an RT valve with a LVL 10 bolt. Getting a very slight leak down the barrel.
First question is, how many cycles will it take for the the o-ring in the carrier to wear enough to need the next carrier, I have done 20,000?
Second is I took apart the on-off section and noticed that there is a new type of black o-ring at the bottom of the on-off, possible problem?
Lastly, I am chewing up bolt bumpers, is it ok to use the old type bumpers that use to come with the standard kits they seem beefier?

    Thanks in advance,
    R

You have broken in the o-ring, try the next smaller carrier and you should be good to go.

      that black o'ring is ok, it's a "quad o'ring"

yes bumpers are getting chewed up a bit quicker, it's normal, no you can not use the blue ones. Get your hands on some more clear ones.

depending on your fit of the carrier to the o'ring will depend on how long it takes to break it in, Load's right, go down one size and you should be good.

Is your mag an E-mag? If it is, that strange black o-ring is indeed the quad o-ring.

Thanks guys. Havoc I have an extended question. I have 20,000 cycles and the o-ring that I have been using was broken in at about 2000 and then again at 8000 when I put in tighter carriers. Just wondering about the wear factor. I am at "0.5" carrier now.

          thanks,
          R

that's normal, it should'nt do it again, if it does, don't worry, you can still go down to the 0.0 carrier. Now if That leaks, you have a bad o'ring. still, I wouldnt worry about it.
