    Apoc/Geddon...

ok thanx guys, i dont think im gunna get a raptor bc of that. Im looking at the geddon and Apoc reg, i see that the out put is from 200-1100 on the geddon and 200-1000 on apoc, but i see that the Apoc has an on-off which i really want. I know how the apoc works n such. Now with the geddon what with the tank comming off the reg? hows that work? on-off?

i know im being annoying with this AirAmerica stuff but i dont know much about them. And how else would i lurn?

an im searching on this too so dont snap at me, im tring to get as much info b4 i buy

I have an Apoc 2K 68/4500. Love the tank. The on/off on the 2K is virtually impossible to turn by hand when the tank is fully filled, even half filled. I have to use a cresent wrench! Other than that, its a great tank.

The Armageddons don't have an on/off valve. To "turn off" the tank you can either adjust it so the output is set to zero, or you can remove the bottle (arm) from the reg even under full 4500psi pressure. I turn mine off using the adjusting method, but when I'm storing my stuff, bottle comes off and goes into the bag. Its quite convinient, and you do not lose ANY air when removing the bottle, even if the reg is turned on.

Btw, the Apoc2k (newest) are the only AA tanks with an on/off, but unfortunately, as said by edwards, they're near impossible to turn under full pressure.

Flatlines & Max Flows have better on/offs than the Apoc2k's.

Actually the older Apoc's (pre 2k) have the on/off as well. I have 2 of them and they're GREAT. Interestingly, the on/off on one of them is really easy to turn irregardless of the pressure, while the other is quite the opposite.

I'm not under the alkafluence of inkahol that some thinkle peep I am. It's just the drunker I sit here the longer I get...

i have to agree with everyone else, the apoc is agreat reg. i used to have an old style 68ci/3k(wish i didn't sell it), i got about 1300-1400 shots per fill on my micromag, granted i don't "spray and pray", but i was still very happy. eventually the on/off does get easier to turn.

I have a stainless Steel APoc and it works great, the on/off is very stiff, w/ a full 4500 fill it is really hard to turn, but I put on my gloves then I can get it
