the on/off pin valve on my rt keeps breaking everytime i find the sweetspot when shooting. Anyone else heard of this and know why it is?

Are you sure it isn't breaking off when you pull out the valve? How much of the end of the pin is breaking off?

Never heard of this problem, need more details. Gun setup, Type of RT, etc.

its an RT not the pro last strand of the old RT before they went to the pro model. It has a AGD approved benchmark double trigger. doesn't have the lvl 10 in it yet. How i figured this all out was i was shooting and rapid shooting like sweetshooting it, then all of a sudden it would stop. I would try depressurising it take the bolt out and i put it back all in. gas it up still nothing. repeat it except i took the valve apart to see if any orings were damaged. thats when i came across the on and off pin valve broken. Where its broken is on the tip is when u look at the whole valve and the brass square piece crap trying to remember what that name is. but the tip which sits in the hole. not the big end the small end breaks off looks like 1/4 maybe a little less of a cm. When i put a new one in. Its ok i fire off about 1000 rounds and as soon as i start hiting the sweet spot again bang it goes again. I have heard that were not suppose to do that. But then why make it so you can then. Hope this helps you more to decipher the problem.

Do you use an adjustable tank? What's your input pressure? Is it cranked up to make it more reactive?

Check the top of the back part of the sear that pushes the on/off pin up and down. If that has a knick in it, it could be catching the on/off pin and causing it to snap. Make sure you're using a .750" pin.

ok I checked the back part of the sear and it looks cleanon the back part of it, but the top has a spot where it looks where the pin and the sear meet more often. Im assuming that over time you will have such a spot. I have used .750 pin. The tank Im using is a preset tank. Pure energy 3k 88 cu the pressure is 850 for the output.
