whats better nitro or compressed air?

which is better compressed air of nitro?
and why? just curoius because nitro cost so much more, and nitro fill stations are very rare

There is no real difference between Compressed Air and Nitrogen for the purpose of shooting paintballs. Breathable air contains on average 78% nitrogen anyway.

There is no real reason why you would want to use "pure" N2 instered of mostly N2 in the form of the air we all breath. Some people will say that air going through an industrial compresser can become dirty or contaminated. The filters used at SCUBA shops insure the air you get is very healthy. If you use air that is intended for SCUBA use there wont be any problems with dirt. It's more expensive to produce "pure" N2 so just go with the filtered air you can get at a SCUBA shop.

I have heard, but don't know how true, that N2 is more stable than CA. I have not ever seen proof, but it does make sense, because there is more nitrogen in it. I run my mag on CA and have no problems, and very little velocity changes at the chrono.

when ya go to a pro shop ya sometimes get N2 or HPA, neither one make a difference, there practicly the same for paintball markers
