    68 classic leaking

i just got my mag and i have been target shooting with it for a few days. when i went to charge it up today there was a ton of air leaking out of the veloicty adjuster screw (there was about 2000psi in my tank). i backed it out a and it slowed down, after this my nitro was getting a little low, around 1000psi, and it seemed as if the gun wouldn't recock and a lot of air was leaking down the barrel. thanks in advance for any help.

i have a 68 classic that i cannot find the leak to. it fires fine, but somewhere between the regulator and the on/off valve there seems to be a small leak. i've replaced all o-rings and seals.. THRICE, but still there's a leak. is there someplace i may be missing? air is not leaking down the barrel and it's not leaking out of the reg. pin.. any suggestions?

poon, try the next smallest spacer, tha\t sould do it. devilshalo, are u sure your on/off isn't whats leaking? There is no way it should be leaking between the front and back halves!

poon like I told you earlier you sure it's not bolt stick? Sure your on/off top is on correctly? And also like I told you earlier I'll take a look at it and see what the problem is. By the way, welcome to AO!

well, i've changed out the 2 o-rings and the 2 teflon ones and there's still a small leak... i'll try it again. i'm pretty sure i'm putting it back the same way as illustrated in the schematics. maybe i have to get a new on/off top, that's the only thing i can think it is

i fixed the leak, thanks for all the help. it ended up being that the o-ring behind the powertube spacer. it blew out and got stuck inside my bolt, causing the leak.
