Recently i had the Lvl10 and a Intell frame put on my RtPro (Havic on line)Installed it. The gun worked great for about four thousand rounds then all of sudden it didn't want to fire. If you played with the trigger Repeatedly it would start to work and then eventually stopped firing all together. I cleaned the gun real good and put it back together, still nothing. The valve charges up when you gass up and when you pull the trigger you can feel it move the trigger rod but nothing. Has anyone had this problem? Please help not sure what to check next?

Sounds like you may be operating on the fringe of supersoft. Maybe a velocity reduction is causing the piston force to be below the bolt spring force, causing the bolt not to go forward. Try increasing your velocity to see if it fires. The other thing is to put in the next smaller spring and try that.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

have you run oil, through the valve(like 2-3 drops through your asa)?
make sure your chrono'd properly, if the velocity moved or changed it could affect the way it fires.
you can use a shorter spring but it won't be as soft on paint.
don't use a smaller carrier, that will most likely make things worse, if anything see if you can use the next size bigger carrier without it leaking, if it leaks, go back down one.
how much pressure do you have going into the valve?Comment

I tryed a different spring and had no luck.I oil the gun regularly and iam not sure what my tank is putting out iam useing a pure energy 4500psi 88cu. The tank is full.I've never had a problem with it before. what to do???? Havic-Online i was haveing a simiar problem when i brought it to you. I had you put a new trigger and a lvl10 at challenge park when you were there for the william shattner game i had the lynk power grip and you said it was for the old style with the banjo bolt. Anyways could the sear not be hitting the valve pin all the way down? what is the trigger rod length suppost to be. Is it common for the trigger rod to wear? please help. do i need to send it in?Proud Owner of a RT PROComment

Just guessing here. Maybe the action of the sear is off a bit. due to the trigger frame not quite fitting properly. If the sear doesn't quite release the bolt it won't fire. If the on/off pin doesn't cone out far enough the front valve chamber won't charge with air and the gun won't fire. Check the trigger rod length (check for the proper gap between the trigger and the rod). Try putting a spacer in the banjo bolt hole of the I-frame to take up the extra slack.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

Sorry if i didn't make my self clear, I have a new style not the old style with the banjo bolt. I bought a trigger over the internet and it was for the old style RT's with the banjo bolt. So i had Havic-online install a new intell frame. I did install the other trigger orginally and was having nothing but problems with it,Basically the same problem thats when i had the new intell frame installed and it worked great until now? Does anyone know what the rod length is suppost to be?Proud Owner of a RT PROComment

Trigger rod is supposed to be 1.995 inches I believe. Rule of thumb 1/16th of an inch from the back of the trigger when charged up.Great Traders - DiRTyBuNNy - midwikid - than205 - DropKick1 - jericoholics - personman - Siayajin - Remington - Jaymz
