drop zone 3/timer grip problems...

ok, i was told that the kapp drop zone III would fit my nitro duck 68/4500 megareg by the guy at nitro duck. so i ordered one, spent $60, and it arrived today and ofcourse it doesn't fit, it is just slightly to small. anybody had this problem? how should i modify to make it fit? thanks for your help.

edit: i also bought an extreme rage timer grip for my rt. anybody know if it's possible to turn this thing off? it's just sitting there with 10:00 on the clock and there is no on/off button...

Im not exactly sure whats not fitting in, but depending where it is, just cut it off. If its the gauge and its a full size try a Micro. About the E Rage Grips, I dont know how you turn em off, but I've known two people who brought them. For both of them the grips stoped working before they even needed to turn them off.
