    do I need this?

I am assembling my minimag. While re-teflon taping the seals on my quick disconnect hose, I noticed that one side of the hose has a small (maybe the size of a pencil eraser) copper filter that threads on the inside of the steel hose. I assume this is some kind of co2 filter?
I am running n2 and retro valve. Do I still need this? I need to know before reassembling. I just got my intelliframe and am slowly getting this thing together. Cant wait to play! Holla back.

seriously, this is a valid question and I need to know.
I dont want to reinstall something that is not neccessary and seems like it could restrict airflow. The mag itself is old, originally ran on co2.

Keep it. Prevents crap from getting into gun. No bad side effects.

Keep it in, even nitro has crap in it, if you take it off, the Confusion Fairy will make something go wrong w/ your gun!
