Clevis pin, actually. there isnt a clevis pin in a mag to my knowledge. he is probably talking about th trigger rod, being the only adjustable thing on a mag. i would suggest not trying to adjust this until your sure it wont work, or have a tech do it."The Fine Print: Discontinue use if your eyeballs suddenly get way smaller."Comment

Yes, the clevis rod reffers to the rod attached to the clevis assembly.
This is another term for the Sear/ trigger pin assembly.
What the guy is telling you, is that you "have to screw in or out your trigger rod "
That being said, messing with your trigger rod can be a bad thing. I would only reccomend shorting it/ legnthing it IF the previous owner messed with it. Something tells me that this is the case.
Read over this: http://www.automags.org/resource/tech/magfaqs.shtml#4
that's the legnths that your trigger rod should be.
Use some dial calipers if you've got them. If not, Make sure that the tip of the trigger nod DOES NOT touch the back of the trigger when the gun is gassed up. You want at least a 1/16 of and inch gap.
Hope this helps,

So the problem is the trigger and not the acual mag? Cause i was thinking about putting a z-trigger on it (already found one). And if i were to put the z-trigger on it i wouldn't have to mess w/ anything?Comment

Paintballzer,
first things first. The problem is most likely neither the trigger nor the actual mag. If there is a problem, it is MOST likely the guy who messed with the rod in the first place. lol. That being said, this is not a big deal - - it's not like there's anything 'wrong' with anything. (unless, he legnthened the trigger rod until it touched the back of the trigger, and fired it a whole lot- - could cause premature wear on the sear/ and or bolt- - - but thats somthing that you would have to take the gun apart to really check for sure anyway. . )
Most likely, the trigger rod has been messed with just a little bit, in a poor attempt to do a "trigger job". Most likely the result was a decreased rate of consistent fire, and a greater ability to short stroke the gun. Follow the measurements I liked for ya in my first post, and you'll be fine. If there continues to be any problems, just PM or email me. There's not too much that you cant work out yourself.
I assume you mean z-grip, right?
Most likely, no you wont' have to mess with anything. If you get a z-grip, you should be able to just put it on, and ewverything should work pretty good. If it dosent, most things are very eaisly fixed. Just ask me or some of these other guys when that time comes.

ok, thanks. Yeah, cause i found a z-frame for like 100 bux, not sure how much they were when they were being produced, but now that there not i don't think that that price would have to do w/ much of it anyway, but is that a good price?Comment

100 bux is pretty good. I usually tell people that are looking for one to expect to pay around 115-125.Comment
