    ANS Phase 2

I need to know the pros and cons about the ANS Phase 2 A.I.R. Valve, the ANS bolt, and the ANS true flow valve. I am thinking about buying these things. I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

I have not actually seen all of these but as for the bolt I saw no improvement at all. I went back to my worn stock and plan to get an AGD in a month or so. I can not imagine that there is a great or even noticeable improvement with any of these aftermarket parts over stock. If the stock part are working properly and clean I have found them to work as well or better than any aftermarket parts. The only parts I would buy aftermarket are shinny ones to bolt on the outside but keep it AGD on the inside. Their parts are no more expensive than any ANS part. Just my opinion and I am sure that in some cases there might be an improvement if by nothing more than a placibo effect. Good luck

I have the ANS Phase II bolt, it is worthless. I had to buy the PT spacers, but it just leaked down the barrel, and when I could get it to shoot, it was no different in the performance. Like FeelTheRT said, save your money.

            valve and bolt

i have the bolt, it doesn't do anything different than the stock, just i have to use it cuz i don't have teh stock, it is ok i guess, i dont' see any difference in performance. as for the valve, i had one when i first got my gun, got rid of it, all it did was cause problems for me.

It makes your gun talk, shoot for you, as well as give you unlimited ammo, they also make the gun play for you so you don't even have to go to the field to win. For these reasons I highly recommend ANS parts

Actually all they do is mess up your gun, and take $50 out of your pocket, and put it in someone elses.

You see, here we have a mag/cocker divergence. I think every red-blooded male american likes to hop-up what he's got. I've heard of this ANS stuff for a while now, and really, I've never heard anyone say they have noticed an improvedment with it. That's why some people like cockers over mags more. You can rod the hell out of a cocker. Not a mag. Only things you can do a mag are outside the internals. Cosmetics, ASA, all of that.

I think that ANS stuff is a waste of time. Save your money, put that $50 towards a ReTro. That's what I'm doing.

As the others i can say: Save the Money!
The only thing you can do on a Mag is a good barrel and a good Hopper; If you want a lighter triggerpull, some triggerjob and sometimes another spacer (this two things made my triggerpull really verry light ).

When I bought my used Automag it had all of these things installed. My first impression was "ugly" wrt to the regulator and having search around for information I was very happy to see that NOBODY ANYWHERE spoke of improvement with newer mags... and that is the important point. These products were created to solve problems in OLDER mags, which were later fixed by design.. so if you have a Level 7 your stock is as good as it gets.

Upon learning this I replaced everything with the stock items that I received as part of the package. Firstly this Looks better - the stock regulator is far better machined than the ANS.

It is kind of frustrating for a tinkerer like me, but all evidence tells me that the only ways to hop-up a mag are:

                    1) Get a retro-valve ( which is effectively a forward evolution, not an upgrade )
                    2) Make it more comfortable with grips etc to suit playing style
                    3) Good barrel to paint match
                    4) Regular maintenance
                    5) Use Nitrogen not CO2

As NONE of these options involve upgrading ( except for the retro-value, but that's different ) it says ALOT for build quality and AGD R&D.
