my body rail is all scratched up and crappy looking. what can i do to make it look un-scratched up and un-crappy looking?

your best bet is to get it powdercoated or just buy a new one. you can polish it to a semi-chrome color, but it doesn't look good.

They look better scratched up :)
You could have it powdercoated, which isn't too expensive, just be sure not to get the top done, or where the grip frame touches, as that will mess with tolerances.
Annoing, is expensive, and really not worth it. Probably $60 or so just for the rail.

If you get it powdercoated, dont powdercoat the top between the rail and body, AND between the rail and the grip frame, it does the same thing as powdercoating between the rail and body, so doing one and not the other makes little difference, it will still toy with tolerences.Comment
