    Retro Valve and co2

I have a 68ci 3000psi co2 anti siphon tank and an aci sub zero expansion chamber. I don't think co2 liquid will touch my valve. Will the retro valve work okay? I paid $150 for this tank b/c it seems sexy.

    Thanks

Ummm.... you seem to be a bit mixed up.

68/3000 are dimmensions for a Nitro/compressed air tank. Yet, you talk about an anti-siphon tube whic is strictly co2. Got a pic? Let's see if we can get this little situation worked out for ya

I used to have what you are talking about, its a fiber wrapped 68c.i. size tank hooked to a co2 valve. I don't think it will be good for a retro valve, because co2 is just not stable enough to run it. Do what I did, buy a cheap 47ci nitro tank and switch the valve to your 68ci tank. Co2 and retro vavle will probably not make you happy!

Sounds dangerous, I have heard from people at the field and seen it here that you shouldn't go back to N2 after having run Co2 thru the tank. Something about the liquid Co2 ruining the interior of the tank.
Oh spazzed, people w/ shockers use 68/3000 tanks for Co2 because they can hold more than 30 oz. of Co2.

Thanks a lot thats all I needed, I'm not getting the Rt Valve anymore. I used my setup today and it was sick so I'm keeping it the way it is. Don't worry spazz when I showed workers at the field all they said back was "what are you talking about, how much psi do you want in this?"

                Thanks

yeh. the valve has orings in it that are only for N2. co2 will cause massive bulging in thme and it wont be pretty. thats what ive been told by some personel at AGD. if you remove those orings and replace them with Co2 OK orings, in THEROY YOU SHOULD BE FINE....however nobody has ever done this to my knowledge(although ive seen an angel run on Co2--that was pretty psycho--but it worked)
