Calling All Lvl 10 Useres, Help!!!!!! Asap

ok, i am on the verge of a 3 man paintball league, and my automag picks now to stop running for me there is something wrong with the level 10 upgrade, here is the problem, i had it instaled by airgun themselves, and it ran great for like 2 months, now, all of the sudden it was not recocking, and locking up and not shooting at all, etc, i posted on here once about it already, and someone gave me the advice that it was just the oring was broken in and i needed to jump to the next smaller carrier, well i tried that, and now the gun wont even hold air, it runs right through, so i tried just getting back to square one, and put the first carrier back in it, (the one that was "too big") and same result, just ran right through, eventually i did manage to get it to hold air, but now it wont fire, the presure is there i can feel it when i pull the trigger, but it wont fire, currently i am using the middle sized spring, .5 carrier, (the one with one dot, and no lines), and 3 shims, and it ran fine for like i said about 2 months, so if anyone can give me help on this quick i would REALLY APPRICIATE IT, i need this gun for my tourny, thanks,
    -Andy

it's really important to make sure your using the biggest carrier that doesnt leak.

make sure your shims are not bent

your bolt stem might have moved. measure the tip of the stem to the front of the bolt. It should be about 2.010".

for havoc, or whoever else can help

i said havoc because hes posted more on this that most, here is the situation so far, (by the way, sorry if this is a double post, i checked back here earlier and i didnt see this, but i could swear i replied, anyway, i check on the bumper like mentioned, and found it pretty chewed up so i'm replacing that, and any other thoughts are greatly appreciated, i'm going to put it back together like it was before it started to No Cussing. up on me, and see what happenes now, if it doesnt work i think i am going to switch to the smaller carrier, now if i am using the .5 carrier (no lines w/dot) which way would be smaller, no lines, no dots? or 1 line no dots? someone said before to try a smaller spring and make sure its oiled, and to clear that up i always put 3-4 drops of oil in the asa adpater before gasing up, and i tried it with the smaller spring already, so i dont think thats the problem, unless its only part of the problem, so if i go the the next carrier down, and it still wont shoot, then i'll go to the smaller spring, but if anyone has anymore ideas, i am definately willing to listen, please help, my new league starts on sat. and i need my gun running

I know this may sound silly but,

Just make sure you're re-assembling the pieces corectly. Especially since you had AGD install it. That'a not a shot at AGD. I had the same thing done on my gun, and when time came to switch carriers, I was in the dark. So make sure you check out the video Miscue did. Hope you figure it out.

if all else fails (and you have the old parts) you could switch back to your old bolt and powertube setup. but only as a last resort. hope it gets working before the tourney tho

              just go through these steps

We know the level 10 bolt fits in your marker, without bolt stick. Good.

are we being religious about oiling up the marker when we air it up? Believe me, with the level 10 system, putting oil in the marker is key. if you don't, well, your marker will not work. You only need 1 (say again, ONE) drop in there when you gas up.
You may have initially done what I did at world cup - if you put in TOO MUCH oil (i used 4-5 drops every time I gassed up) then you run the risk of clogging up the valve. This prevents the marker from shooting. Period. YOu have to clean out the valve. One drop of oil. Gold cup is preferred.

Otherwise, what you need to do is this:

              1) Gas down the marker and take the valve back off.
              2) Remove the powerfeed tube tip (you should be using the level 10 one! - if there are any questions about the part descriptions/pictures, look in the official level 10 post, or check out the diagrams on the AGD store website.)
              3) take out all the internal parts
              4) check the order and proper orientation of the parts. Make sure none of your orings have scratches, or look damaged.
At the bottom of the stack goes the Delrin washer. Then the carrier w/ the white oring inside it. Place it white oring down into the tube so that the white oring is touching the delrin washer. TAMP IT ALL THE WAY DOWN, so that the carrier goes below the threads, then put in 2 shims. Now screw on the tube tip.

Put one drop of oil into the assembly.

NOTE: Let's take a looksee at which carrier is the best. If it leaks at 1.5, go to 1. if it stops leaking at 1 (which is where my emag is at) then stop there. .5 is a bit small, but I know some people use that one.

              5) Now, using the middle spring, which is fine, go ahead and reassemble the gun. CHECK THE VELOCITY. You may have to turn it up a bit to make it work. There is the last possible error here. At some point, the regulator piston may have died. Bascially, the valve might not be able to supply the pressure needed to get the level 10 kicking. Happens rarely, if you don't oil the marker, so hopefully that's not the case.

While I love the fact that AGD installs the level 10s, I think anyone who gets a modification like this onto their marker REALLY REALLY has to know how to make it work. The problem was probably a little one in the beginning, but it's probably been made worse. Too bad, not a knock on anyone, but that's why people should install critical modifications themselves.
