What do I have set up wrong?

Micromag with intelliframe, lvl 10 kit...

I installed the intelliframe and a brand new sear, and now the trigger is VERY stiff, and longer than it was with my single trigger frame on it.

Did I do something wrong?, something kinked or dragging with this frame/body? Anyone got any ideas?

Looking for a short crisp trigger, and I gotta pull this thing so hard I feel like I'm firing an old VM-68!!!

I am putting a RT kit in it in a few weeks here, maybe that will solve the problem?, we will see, until then, any other suggestions guys? How do I shorten and lighten the trigger pull?

Check the spacing of the trigger rod & trigger. I forget the length off the top of my head, however if you run a search in the Tech Forum, it's bound to pop up. That may be part of your issue.

      trigger rod

If I am correct, they are set to 1.95 from the factory ( migth be off on the measurment )

This is a brand new factory sear, I did not adjust anything on it. As I have seen hundreds of times on the boards, "DO NOT ADJUST THE TRIGGER ROD" That's the reason I put a brand new sear in ( the original sear had been adjusted and chewed up my bolt pretty good )

check your old sear and new sear and see if the rods are the same length.
if they're the same, my guess is the spring is too big

          spring?

Huh? how does the spring come into play?

I guess I could see it if the bolt was being held on too much, it would maybe cause back pressure on the valve and make the on/off harder? I can try that, because I did just switch to the mid sized spring to counteract a small leak I was having.

The other rod is actually shorter, and will not fire at all in my intelliframe.

nevermind about the spring. i was half awake.

maybe your old sear was worn out a little and made it easier to shoot. but then again that has nothing to do with the pin pressure.

what about your velocity in the gun? how about the input pressure from the tank?

              been there done that :)

Pressure is about 850 out of a Nitroduck 45/6800 tank - no problem there

Velocity is fine chronies in around 270-280 every shot.

Velocity screw is cranked way in to get that velocity though. This is a Lvl 7 valve with the lvl 10 bolt kit... maybe the Nitro Piston? Just kinda baffled

wow a 45cu 6800psi tank, love that lol (know what you meant)

hmm. maybe try taking lvl 10 out and putting the old bolt back in. see if that fixes it. if it DOES. then you know its the lvl 10

And PE thought they had the highest PSI tanks in the industry! HA!!
I'm way too old for this ****.

                    doh!

45/6800.... could be a problem.... too much pressure in the tank

well, RT kit... or maybe a MicroE may be on the way, so I guess if it's a valve problem, it wont matter anymore

well for ****s and grins, on your old sear, mark where the rod is and then adjust that to the length of the near sear. then throw that it. see if it works then

                        sear

the old sear will not even work in the intelliframe ( nor will one set to that length )

Isn't it bad to adjust the sear pin length?

my opinion on the whole adjusting thing

if it was such a big deal onto NOT adjust the rod, then why is it adjustable?

i adjust mine for where i'm comfortable with it.. and why doens't the sear work? if you adjust it it should.. if you dont want to then dont i guess.
