    stupid questions 2

i recently bought a used automag & went playing w/ it this weekend.

    i had a lot of problems w/ balls double-feeding... what's up w/ that?

i also had terrible problems w/ my glasses fogging up inside my mask... any suggestions?

there were guys there fanning triggers about twice as fast as i could... so i'm looking for a trigger frame that a) shoots faster; b) springs back very fast so i don't short stroke... suggestions?

you probably didn't install the wire nubbins your barrel to stop the double feeding. As far as your glasses you may want to get a thermal lense or buy a fan for your mask.

Taking mags apart is fun, its even more fun when you don't know what you're doing

First thing, register your gun. Use this link http://www.airgun.com/agwarranty.html or call Airgun Designs on tuesday.

Secondly, check the present condition of your nubbins, they are attached to the barrel, if you are double feeding, they may need adjusting or replacing.

As for your fogging problem, there are a couple of possible solutions. You can buy a thermal lens, invest in a fan for your mask, or buy some anti-fog solution at your neighborhood car specialty store.

As for your trigger problems, you could invest in a Retro Valve, which would give you that spring back, and/or an Intelliframe for your gun.

hmmm ok i'll check the nubbins. i already have a thermal lens, so i guess it's fan time. i'll also check out those trigger frames.

        thanks!

Also, you have to get used to the trigger. I've shot angels and the highest ROF I could get was 6 bps! You want to know what's even worse? I can get 8 bps on my old cocker! You just have to get used to the trigger. Intelliframe is a good idea though.

Balls double feeding could be your barrel nubbin. Make sure it is there, and is pertruding into the barrel.
For fogging up, yes a fan would help. A better mask would also help. If you don't want to spend that kind of money, I belive their is something you can put on your lense to keep it from fogging. I forget exactly what it was, baby oil, or something weird like that, find out before you try it
Trigger springing back, the only thing you could really do is get a retro valve for about $270. Those aftermarket on-off valves that clam to do this, don't really work. Another trigger frame may also help you, Benchmark, Dye, Intellaframe, and Z-grip, try some out, see how you like that and if it is what you are looking for.

              put toothpaste on the lenses

When i went to BCT the Drill Sgts made us put a thin coat of Toothpaste on the lenses. it helps a little. otherwise Rainex works.
i dont like signatures. so i turned them off. AO is much better this way.
