stains on lvl 10 bolt?

I just got my lvl 10 kit. However, the bolt seems to be stained. I do not have a digital cam but they are discolorations on the surface of the bolt. I oiled it and they seemed to come out but are still there slightly. There is also some cracking/flaking of the material on the tip of the bolt (around the foamie). Anybody else have this problem? I searched but came up empty. Peace

I've had the same problem with bolts over time in my rt, dunno about lvl 10 bolt becuase I haven't had it that long. I clean my bolts by washing them with HOT water and then drying and oiling. After a few month's I've noticed discolorations on the bolt. This has happened to every bolt I've ever had for a mag? Not really sure why, never had a problemw ith flaking or cracking etc.
