OK standard 68 mags have that hosing from bottomline to asa, then from there to the back valve. I cant find a pic of a minimag with the hosing but is it similar? If so is it possible to just run hoseline from the bottomline to the back?

there will always be a hole there...it obviously wont run without air...its just that depending on the feed style, the inlet may be on the opposite side.Comment

My picture is a Micromag. It is the same as an automag, and I presume the same as a minimag. The vertical asa is just to relocate where the line goes. For an expansion chamber, vertical bottle(?), regulator, etc. For some it is only preference. Unless I'm wrong about the minimag, I'm pretty sure that you can go from the valve to your bottomline.Comment
