    Performance Question

I have a Minimag with all its stock parts and nothing changed. I did add an ANS Gen-X regulator though. Is there anyway I could increase my marker's performance on air comsumption and shooting speeds (I already use Compressed Air)? I want to upgrade it pretty soon but I still don't really know much about Automags. I could deffinitly use the advice.

as for shooting speeds, are you more comfortable with double trigger or single triggers. if you are more comfortable with double triggers, i would suggest getting a double trigger frame.. dye benchmark and airgun designs makes them. i have one and it increased my shooting speed alot.

For starters, go back to the standard AIR regulator that comes on the gun. Then get an intelliframe from AGD. Your trigger speed will go up. Once you are comfortable here, get HPA and a retro valve. You'll need a level 10 bolt upgrade because you'll be firing so fast you may chop balls without the level 10.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Your ROF can be helped with a Retro valve and Inteliframe!! My expereince has been that the ANS parts do nothing for anything!!! You don't have to go Lvl10 right away, but do crown the edge of your bolt to reduce ball breaks and the risk of chops!! Do a search on that one!! Your input pressure is not a significant issue either!!! Once you go Retro, your input pressure will somewhat dictate the ammount of "bounce" in your trigger!!! Hope this helps!!

For the air comsumption you may want to try a few diffrent barrels, I tryed a Taso Bigshot this weekend and I was getting 50-60 more shots from my 45/3000, compared to my SP All American. You said your running compressed air so you realy dont need the Gen-X on your gun, with it your triple regulating your gun (tank reg, gen-x, AIR valve) and may be restricting air flow. If you feel your out shooting your stock AIR/Minimag valve then a Retro valve is the way to go.
