    Level 10 w/ Micro-RT !!!!!!!!BOLT DIDN'T FIT!!!!!!!!!

I recently purchased and installed a level ten on my Pro-team Micromag RT. Problem was the superbolt DID NOT FIT!I had to push it into the body, but then the fit was so tight that the marker wouldn't fire (i had to push the bolt out from the front with a sguegee). Now the problem is fixed ( a gun-tech filed down the bolt and it works beautifuly now) but this may be a problem for other users, anyone from AGD care to comment?

I had that problem with my emag. Turned out the barrel bore was too small (armson rifled). But the stock one works fine, as does a Ti Boomstick.

that is a known problem. the proteams breech is a tiny bit smaller. you either have to file down the bolt(as you did) or have the breech made bigger.

I had the same problem with my micromag. I haven't fixed it yet but I'm gonna hone out my breach just a bit so it will fit all future bolts as well.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

who worked on it? It's usually not the bolt but the body that needs to be filed.

It's also possible you accidentaly got an X-mag bolt in your kit. They have a slightly larger diameter.

Xmag bolts are the same size. SFL bolts are the ones with a bigger od. If you got an SFL level 10 kit it would say so on the label at the bottom.

Naw these PTP things are just wierd sometimes. Mine fit fine though in my Micro E but...well

Sure it wasn't in the barrel where it stuck? That has happened before as has been stated. And then as Havoc has eluded to the regular SS mag bodies sometimes have a burr from long time use that needs some work. Not heard of the Micro and cannot think of anywhere on it that it would. I should think it was in the barrel where it was sticking. Just inside the lip of it.

Really? I had heard differently. How lucky for SFL owners.

                      it's a known problem

it has nothing to do with the barrel or anything...
it has to do with the main body washer in the micromag. It develops slight "burrs" from repeated use and this prevents the new level 10 bolt from fitting sometimes. Lightly sanding the washer down (I did it with 800 grit sandpaper for only a couple seconds) solves the problem.

this particular problem has been reported several times already. I think it's also in the level 10 problems sticky thread.

                        well Load,

ive got a agde xmag, and the lvl10 bolt was to big.

i had to file the ring down as well to get it to fit.

from the judge in the WDP v Sp case.... " i find it significant that aside from a somewhat limited notebook produced by gaston, the four named inventors offer NO documentation of there work or there contributions to the conception or reduction to practice of the claimed invention"

                          Still doesn't work

Well.... the bolt fits fine now, but the marker won't fire! The on/off is putting pressure on the trigger, but the thing doesn't shoot properly. The problem is definitely LX related, i put the stock parts back in and they worked fine! I'm having it looked at one last time by a gun tech, then off to AGD if that doesn't work.

Try turning the velocity up. Or you might need a larger carrier, or a shorter spring. Its all in the Level 10 threads... In fact, its in the instructions. Read them, it'll help.
