adjustable nitro duck

I bought a used adjustable nitro duck tank and im trying to figure out what kind of cradle i need to use with it. this tank unscrews from the reg and someone told me i had to use nitro ducks cradle system. Im just trying to find out if i do indeed have to use theres (wich i dont have) or do i have other alternatives.

I think NitroDuck cradle would be your best choice!! Another one that might work for you is the KAPP DZ III, that is the one that clamps on to the collar of the tank!!!

i have the same tank and i got mine used but it came witha cradle tho it doesnt provide much of a drop but it is a cradle im not shure what kind it is ill try and find out

after looking it over closely im almost positive mine is the stock one form nitroduck

The KAPP Dropzones should fit it just fine. It clamps around the front of the reg where the the circular indentation is.

Ha ha, thats a old reg. I had one of those for a old nitro duck 47ci 3000 psi aluminum tank that was about a foot and a half long. Actually you may have to clamp it around the threaded part, thats how I ran mine, and then tightened that nut.

Im gonna check out the KAPP ones and see if theyll fit it. if not ill just get a nitro duck one.

I have the same reg and tank system and I use a drop zone 2 which works great. It also allows for a lot of adjustability.

on that kind of tank the drop zone would clamp on the neck of the bottle itself

The cradle wouldn't connect to the bottle, it would connect to ther reg. If you look closely at the end of the reg you screw your tank in on the ouside there are threads with a ring near the top of them. Just take off the ring and you can put the cradle on the threads.

Couldnt you just connect the cradle to the top part of the reg?

either way is fine but my way will put the tank farther under your gun, which will work in your favor.
