    Building a retro mag

Im getting into paintball and was going staight for nice nice mag!

To save some money I was going to build it my self. So that means im not gonna modify a 68 mag classic. these are the parts im going to try and buiild my own mag. Could you guys tell me if there is anything?

    My Retro-Mag

    Galactic Systemz Z-body
    AGD Retro-valve
    Galactic Systemz RT Z-valve on/off,
    AGD Intelliframe or Z grip
    Level 10 upgrade

    Am I missing anything?

PS. Is it possible to put a tippman flatline barrel on a Mag?

    and

Would the reactive trigger be in recreation play? How about in a tourney.

Personaly, I would not go with the Galactic on/off on the Retro valve!! Stay with the stock!! As far as what you left out, you may want to factor in a frame rail, and a drop forward, and an air system, as Retro valve will not work with Co2!! With your Z body, the only barrel I have seen work is the Equation, and I tried them all!! You don't need the kit, you just need a .692 back and a muzzle from the Multiple Switch system!!! Because with the Z body, you want as large diameter a barrel, as short as you can get!! Also, make sure to get the newer parabolic feed plug (most impotant) to avoid any feeding problems!!!
And, a reactive trigger is great no matter what you're playing!!

Well I really want to keep the retro z valve because I heard good things about its preformance along with the retro valve.

Why do I need a short barrel. I understand the big part but why

Toymyster, who makes the equation? I have never heard of it. I was thinking of getting the CP 2-piece with the .697 bore. I also noticed that the Marbs performance degraded when they changed to a starch formula for the shell. They were working fine with my Check-it 2-piece when I bought mines in 2000. But now they barely work. I'll probably try Proball Premiums next time I play.

The longer barrels tend to take some spin off of the ball, defeating the purpose of the Z body!!! I tried the CP two peice, my accuracy left a lot to be desired!! For the Equation guys, the link is in my sig!!! You might have to contact them and let them know exactly what you want!!! All you need is a .692 to .695 cocker back, and a muzzle piece!!! Let them know it's for a Z body, they'll hook you up!!

it is the back part of the barrel that is threaded for autocockers or any marker with cocker treads. z-bodys take cocker threaded barrels.
