    Choosing the Right Mag

Hi, Im new here (infact this is my first post!). I am looking for a good Mag to fit my prefrences. I would appreciate any help. Please give me an idea of what base marker I need plus any upgrades other than a hopper, air source, and barrel ( will only need a Mag Freak back). Here is a list of specs:
    #1 Good for mid-front play;compact and light

#2 Works with Compressed air and co2, but only in emergency situations.

    #3 Gets at least 500 shots off a 47 3000 psi

    #4 Easy breakdown

#5 Reliable; doesnt have a lot of external moving parts

#6 Relatively cheap, under 700 new.

I appreciate any input in advance. You guys have a great site! Im glad to be a member!

well, the auto/mini mags are virtually the same, the only differences are the mini comes stock with a 'vented' body and a vert adapter, and says "minimag" on the valve. otherwise theyre exactly the same. if your looking for compact, an upgraded auto/mini mag is probably the best way to go. Though, I think ive heard of e-mags being found for around 600 used so you might want to look into that route if it suits you.

otherwise for a stock mini/auto mag, the three 'must have' (not to mention only real upgrades worth getting) is the Level 10 Upgrade, ReTro Valve (or X-Valve when it comes out, which comes with Level 10) and an Intelliframe. Since your looking to run CO2 now and again, I'd suggest if you buy an RT valve, keep the stock valve so you can just slip it back in when you want to use CO2, as the RT valves can't handle liquid CO2, which is why its a 'Nitro/CA only' valve.

If you want to save a few steps, RT PROs come stock with RT valve and Intelliframe, though that would mean you cant run CO2 on it unless you pick up a standard A.I.R. valve for it. food for thought.

      Hope this helps some.

        Thanks guys,

What I am looking to do is get the RT Pro probably . How much would would a regular valve be and do they have the level 10 upgrades on them? Plus, how can I run the air hose totoally away from the trigger area? That seems like it would get annoying?

        Thanks a bunch

No valves come stock with level 10 yet.

The gasline trigger thing really isn't annoying at all, but if you want you can get a gasthru grip instead.

I would get a RTpro (540ish new) and then throw on a level 10.
