How do you get the body off.....

I want to take the body off of the rail on my automag. I would like to give it a really good cleaning. I cant figure out how it comes off. Does anybody know where I can find instructions on how to get it off. If it was in the owners manual, to bad for me, I dont have it anymore.

just take out your field strip screw and the screw in your grip frame
the body should come right off

Do you mean the screw by the trigger? I guess I'll just try to find every screw and take it off. Does the body slide off a certain way or what?

Good luck, those are the only two screws.

There's the field strip screw, and a screw directly in front of the trigger.

Yeah, once you get the 2(two) screws off, you better hold on tight cause the whole things about to fall apart

You might want to take the field strip screw out and remove the valve before removing the front frame screw out, otherwise things will be a smidge harder to hold onto when the valve 'pops' back when you remove the field strip screw.
