    Leaking out the back... still

Alright, I think my mags problem is worse than I thought. I have had a mag for years (2-3) and hadn't had a problem up until a few months ago. Anyway the gun leaks out the back and has been for some time now, I finally got a parts kit to replace the reg seat (along with everything else) went out back aired up the gun, and it still leaked. I don't want to use the magic star but, I think I might have to. Does anyone know anything else I could do?

    Hmmmm,
Have you chrono'd your gun? Are you firing too high? Cause the mag has an auto blowoff valve if you have too much pressure .... try removing the velocity adjuster and then put it back and see if your hot firing.

    Sincerely,
    Dave

yeah if your fps is too high it wil vent out the back, also check your input pressure.

and delete this post and put it in the tech forum.

Already tried all that, the preasure isn't to high, and it isn't shooting to fast haven't officially chrono'd it but, I've been playing long enough to tell about how fast a ball is going (good skill to have when your a reff). The moderator will move the topic if they feel it needs moving, its not like ppl don't post tech questions here.

You might need a new piston.

piston eh, somehow I thought it would be something like that. Isn't there a hpa piston your supposed to use? I don't understand why it just started leaking one day though. Oh well its just a second back up gun now, I'll try that next time I have some money sitting around. Thanks for the help.

You say you replaced all the o-rings. Did you take the regulator piston assembly out of the back of the gun and clean everything inside and out including the valve back? Try putting a new oring on the outside of the piston assembly. A piece of dirt can cause problems here.
