verticle adapter?

Anyone have an idea how to mount a verticle adapter on my rail, there is no predrilled hole in the rail. Should I drill one or get a new rail?

there should be a tiny but noticable hole or small indent, all you need to do is puncture that, and push the stuff out and it should be there.
