Completely untrue, Level 10 was actually made more for the EMag than anything else, and the EMag uses a ReTro valve, so no, that isn't true.

He was probably refering to the retro bumper being chewed up. Its softer then a classics and more prone to getting chewed up. I never had a problem with my bumper in my retro though .

              Hi,

here is a little thing I have learned with a Retro valve, Level 10, and Intelliframe.

              Set up

              Retro Valve
              Level 10 installed
              Intelliframe
ACI Bulldog 2 850 PSI output

When I received the Level 10 for my Retro Valve, I played with it. I played with the springs. I ran a shortest or stock spring. I got the Level 10ed Retrovalve literally go in a run away mode. No trigger work or anything. I literally shot a string of paint. It sounded like a silienced machine pistol at one point since the rate of fire was so high. After a few moments I figured out how to burst the fire onto the target. This allowed the revy to keep up.

The whole time i did this, I shoot only about 750 rounds almost ran out of air. Not a single round of paint was broken on the bolt face or the down the barrel. The Retro Valve's true potential was shown.

              Later,
              Alan
Paintball cannot be that big. No one has really been able to sponsor a stock car or a race yet. (local people do not count in this case )

If your ReTro is going runaway, there is a problem, because the ReTro valve was NOT meant to act like a Tippmann RT trigger. A ReTro valve is only meant to give some extra bounce to return the trigger, and consequently your finger, to its original position for another shot. If yours IS going into "runaway" mode, you NEED to make sure there is no wear and tear on your gun aparts that could be causing this, or you need a longer on/off pin.

                  It was not true runaway

                  Hi,

It was not true runaway but it somewhat acted like a runaway mode. The valve was fine. Stock parts worked fine. Medium and long springs worked fine. It would only fire faster with teh shorter spring. I figured it was a reaction between the light bolt and short spring. It did a true run away the sear would not stop the bolt. I basically had fun with what Level 10 offered in the parts kit.
