When we were playing paintball my cousin got mad cause they had lost a game that they shoulda won and he dropped/threw his mag on the ground and his powerfeed (right where it is welded onto the mainbody) snapped and his entire hopper, elbow and the feed tube snapped off.Is this normal after a while of use? I know it was his fault that he broke it but it would have fallen off in several months anyway. As i said is this normal?

hrmm lets see, feed tubes that are supposed to be on the gun falling off, u tell me if that's normal. -
Ive seen it happen once..... to Rob's Emag..... :) But other than that.... I have only heard of a few instances of that happening.-Gig 'Em Ags!Comment

Send it in dude. Sounds like abuse to me, but they might still warranty it.
Ask him this.. how does thowing your gun on the ground after you get pimped out help your game?
Good thing he doesn't have a Syder or a Cocker. There would have been hoses, springs, and parts everywhere if he would have spiked one that hard (break off the pf tube?!) 440 stainless... Man...Comment

That happened to me. I didn't trow it around or anything, it just fell off while I was dry firing it to check for leaks in my new hose setup. Airguns fixed it up for me. I can't really tell if they welded it back on, or if they just replaced the mainbody.

My friends minimag powerfeed fell off one day. We tried to TIG it back on, but we ended up warping the whole body
. I forget how the powerfeeds are attached- some sort of resistance weld. However, my e mags powerfeed looks to be attached a little more beefily
than my original. I suppose i could break it off if i threw it at the ground- really really hard and had some huge hopper on it.
Brass Eagle really really sucks!Comment

inorder for the powerfeed to have broken off there must have been a flaw in the weld, or in the metal itself. I'm not making an excuse for your friend, he shouldn't have thrown his marker in the first place. Unless he hit a rock with it I don't think that he would have been able to break it off with the flaw. But that's just my $0.02.Comment
