    Intelli wiring

I was wonder if the type of wire needs to be the one that is in the installation notes. Or can can I use another kind. The type of wire I am thinking about is the one used on headphones or handsfree kits for cellphones. Will there be any problems?

Methinks it's pretty much the same stuff, although I very well could be wrong. I'm not an expert afterall

If you wanna fiddle, get a bit of each, cut 'em open & visually compare
I'm way too old for this ****.

As long as the wire can carry a current (if its electrical wiring, then I think it will ) then it will work. I used solid core speaker wiring for my intellifeed, works fine. As long as you hook it up as per the instructions, then you shouldn't have any problems.

Yep, in my case I used normal phone cord wiring. See:

Thanks for the info guys. I went with the specified wire but added a phone jack to the side of my revy. I found a spot just left of the on/off switch that fits just right. Later on I will replace the plug with a 90 degree plug. I don't pics since I don't have a digicam.
