Limiting input pressure from 850 psi to 700 psi...?

I just bought a DYE frame (thank God), and to say the least, it works BEAUTIFULLY compared to my Benchmark. However, now that my trigger actually reacts (like it is supposed to with the ReTro), I need to lighten the pull quite a bit, and I heard I could do this limiting the input pressure (which makes sense, as I had assumed). I've seen 700 psi recommended, but how can I limit the pressure of my PMI Pure Energy from 850 psi? Is there an in-line regulator I could buy? Please let me know. Thanks! And please, do not recommend the Flatline, as I don't want to buy a new tank yet

Regs generally need about 200-250 psi in between them so going from 850 to 700 wouldnt work very well. I know you said you didnt want to get a new tank, but I would try to get a used one if possible.

Hrm... I see your point. I went by a local shop and talked to a guy about the PMI Pure Energy in-line reg, and he said (clearly on the same track as what you said) that it's good for limiting pressure to 400-600 psi, but anything over 600 psi tends to be very jumpy and closer to 850 psi. Anyway, he showed me how to hit the sweet spot and get full auto with my tank and ReTro (not that I'd want to use it for anything other than intimidation, hehe). Are there any good replacement dual-reg setups (whatever the things are properly called that have the bottle attached to them)? I have a friend offering me a PMI Perfect dual-reg, but I really don't want it (problems out the ***).
