    ano is no longer working

    ok i have the tank set up.. there is fizz.. i left the parts in for 25-30 mins. Take it out put in COLD water.. then Dye... take it out of die and still silver?


    (i dont know why its not working this time)

      I am not sure.......but I think you are supposed to dye it then put it in cold water???

      also are you sure you are using the correct aluminum? there are only about 3 kinds that can be ano'd

              hes right...what youre doin is sealing the aluminum and then trying to dye it. if you leave it in the dye for a long time then it may take a little color...but not much. Dye it first and then seal it in cold water...youre results will be better

                      thanx evryone for input..


                      bryan- cold water is to get the acid off, hot water seals it.

                      i talked to mag man.. and he told me to leave it in the dye for an hour


                      (still looking for info on why this isnt working)
