    Problem with LX Velocity

O.k. i got my LX & NX Hooked it up, and pssssst right out the back of the regulator. But I running the middle spring. And i have plent of thread left on my Adjuster nut. My spring pack is greased up good. AGD says i need a new refulator piston. That make any sense?. Oh what should the output be for the guns internal regulator? My gauge says 500psi

    Buy a new piston...listen to them...they know.
I had to replace the one on my Emag.

      Output should be 800psi.

Try that and get the gun shooting without leaking out the back with the middle spring. If it's below 280-300fps before it starts leaking, then you need to get a new piston.

How are you measuring PT pressure? That can only be measured by drilling and tapping your valve and placing a gage in that hole. I did mean output pressure from the tank since that's the only pressure you need to measure.

well i had a Smart Parts "Magic Box" and i took it off b/c it was causing problems so i had to block it off somehow. and that is how i did it, to put a gauge there. i had one lying around.

Well, that will work too. 500psi is a decent pressure. LVL 10 increases the operating pressure because of the longer springs and the smaller piston area in the first stage of the bolt stroke. LVL 7 usually operates around 375psi. Don't worry about that pressure though. A new piston will fix your problem.
