    Freak barrel Question

Understanding how the freak barrel works on an automag(with the ball dropping into the chamber, and then the selected insert...) What is the internal diameter of the chamber of the freak back, where the ball is chambered before it is shot through the insert and out the front???

Also, anyone with experience with a freak on a mag, feel free to give your opinion.

    thx, THE PENETRATOR

I use a freak set on my mags and love it. Actually I may be biased because that is all I have used on my mags. I got a freak set a while back and just keep buying new backs whenever I get a new gun.

I had a freak set for my mag and ditched it after a month!!! WHen a $20 aluminum tube (original Crown poit) shoots better that the whole set, it made me wonder!! Anyway, the chamber diameter does not factor in because the bolt pushes the ball past it before the air discharges the paintball if it's any help to you, it's about 0.700"!! However, since the insert in the freak is floating on only 2 o-rings, there are a lot of alignment problems!! For example, the Equation set has:
A- A chamfer to stabilize the insert and a cone on the chamber side to guide in the paintball.
B- they use a coated stainless insert which is more durable and slicker than the thin anidized aluminum Freak uses.
C- They hold their tollorences much closer (0.0001")
      Hope this helps!
