I believe the word you are looking for is Hole, as in a small round opening drilled into the side of the body, not "whole" , which means: complete!! If it is, then Ah137 answered it!!

Yup, its for a cocker style ball detent. Just have the person doing your milling drill and tap it for the detent before your anno job.

Actually it depend on how you tread it, you can use any ball detent type you want- cocker, Angel and so forth
