Tom.. Anyone.. Auto Response install help?

So I was at the Grande Finale (missing Tom and cursing the person who booked him under Tom Kaye), and on Sunday.. I happened upon an Auto Response trigger frame.. for 30 bucks.

No lie. I picked it up as soon as I saw it. They really must not have known how rare/great these things are. Nevertheless, I think that to install it, one needs to remove the trigger rod from the sear and install the sear onto the pivot mechanism...correct?

Great.. now how do I get that pin outta there without killing it?

The AR frame should have a sear in it with a spring atached to a clevis rod set up that effects the pull release shooting. Take somep ics and post what you have, it might not be complete.

It has the pivoting mechanism, but no sear. I finally separated the trigger rod from the sear and I'm installing it on the AR frame.

Should look kinda like this? The previus owner may have removed the sear due to wear my autoresponce(SN 222) is kinda hard on sears. If you need more picks to put it together let me know what you need and I will get them for you.

Can you post dimensions? I may want to machine one like that. I'm just using the stock sear now.

The sear you see is a old style agd sear that I ground to clear the piviot point. I dont think iny mods would be needed with the new style sears. I would take some measurements but my calipers realy suck(I cant get the same reading twice)

Ya know, looking at this frame.. it would be really easy to machine an AR mechanism out of a Benchmark 45 frame. Any donors willing to receive a free AR out of the deal?

I've got a benchmark frame sittin' around.. I'd gladly let you have it, if I could have it back once you're done makin' it
