Lvl 10,

many things I can say about it,
1. Isnt it great to be able to stick your finger into an automag and not have it hurt.
2... well, number one is the only good thing I can say about it...


Please help me with the following.
1. Whenever I try to shoot fast on my emag it starts venting, and sometimes refuses to reset.
2. I have tried every size carrier, and I cannot find the perfect carrier on mine, it seemed one leaked, or the other vented every shot.
3.I found one setup that didnt leak, the no ringed carrier with one dot.. and even when I jacked the velocity sky high, vented when shooting fast.

basically what I am saying is, the level ten installation is becoming far from easy for me... for there is now a leak in my macro, and I am out of air.

Oh, conditions you would like to know...
using an AA raptor tank, sp all american barrel, and macroline...

please help.

when a mag vents, doesnt it mean there is overpressure? So when you put the velocity high, it will vent when its overpressured? I thought I just read that in the manual

no, the bolt is venting the pressure because it is stopping on the "sticktion" of the spring and carriers and such, It hasnt vented out the back.

try firing a few shots quickly, does it still happen? When it does happen, does the bolt not fully go forward or does it stop on the way back and not reset? It could be that the center thing in your bolt is a little off center, which is weird.

Try messing around with the shims too.

It vents when moving forward and re-sets itself, I have two shims in at the moment, I can not screw around with it for a while because I am out of air.

Try a different barrel. The bolt may be hanging up right at the breech.

thanks for the suggestion army, but I tried firing withought a barrel on and the same thing is happening... The second I try to shoot fast it will get maybe 2 shots off and then vents every trigger pull after that... Another thing that is strange, is on manual mode the trigger pull gets really mucky... kinda like it gets sticky before firing.

any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Have you chrono'd or shot paint? You may just need to turn up your veloctiy a bit more.

adding to Army's suggestion, make sure your bolt fits your body ok aswell.

I havent chronoed yet, but before working on lvl 10 I did shoot some balls, and they seemed really slow, so I am sure the velocity is low, I did start to crank it up however towards the end of the installation where I found the setup that didnt leak, but wouldnt fire fast without venting, I turned it up pretty far I do believe, it wasnt venting out the back of the valve though and I was still getting about two shots and all vents after that when firing fast though.
