LEVEL 10 HELp PLZ, asap

Alright, I need help.

I have a mini-mag body frame with a Level 10. Ok, Well, the level 10 is in and I air up the gun, then stick the barrel in and it starts to leak because the bolt is hitting the barrel, how can i fix this?

what kind of barrel are you using?

If you have more than one, does it happen with all your barrels?

I am useing a Dye S/S 14in and a PMI Perfect Bore 14in. It does it with both. I was told...

1. You could have too many shims and it therefore is just at the edge of venting. Removing a shim would fix this.

2. It could be (and this is the most likely) that the carrier is a tad to big. Replace with the next smaller carrier (remember to use the SAME oring).

Alright, HOW Do I do that.

To remove shims, unscrew the PT tip with a cresent wrench.

You'll see steel rings sitting on top of the brass piece that's down in the powertube.

To change the carrier o-ring, pull out all the shims, set them aside and then pull out the carrier by sticking your field strip screw into the carrier and pulling it out. Then pull out the o-ring, put it in the next smaller carrier found in your bag of LVL 10 parts and then reassemble it. Make sure to push the carrier back in with the end of a BIC pen or something similiar, drop in the shims and make sure they're sitting flat. Then, snug up the brass tip with your wrench.
