    micro emag help

Does anyone on this forum with a micro emag have trouble with double feeding. I recently bought a micro emag and it was chopping really bad and i was using a halo b. After looking at all possiblities i found out the reason the mag was breaking so many was because of double feeding. I tried replacing the spring on the nubin making it about 10x stronger, but the mag continued to double feed. I then realized that the micro emag breach was too long, from bolt to nubin there was enough room to fit 1 and a half balls in the breach. This much room combined with the force feed pressure of my halo b causes instant double feeding. I found a possible solution to this by simply reprositioning the nubin. Alls i would need to do is drill a new hole in the nubin and slide the nubin all the way back (or to the right). The only problem with this is that the new hole that needs to be drilled is only about 3/64" away from the existing hole. If anyone has or knows where i can get extra nubins for the micro emag please let me know. Also if anyone has the same problem or any alternet way of fixing the problem please let me know. Thanks

Never have seen the problem you're having. I've worked on a handful of MicroE's and they all seem to work fine. I'd call PTP and see what they suggest. It sounds as though it's a problem with the body. I wouldn't try drilling anything or modify it in anyway before you contact PTP.

call PTP and ask for a new detnet spring. yours is prolly not keeping only one ball in the breech. they should send you one free...htey did for me when mine did this a while back

Same problem with one my buddy owns (not e but still Vert Micro)

Never got word from PTP - very disappointing

Anyway even with a stronger spring you sill have too much room in the breech and it will allow a second ball to partially fall into the breech

So we drilled another hole in the plastic part of the detente in order to move the detente forward in the breech

And yes it's very close to the existing hole.

After doing this no problem with chopping
