Back Bottle Adapter

What i would like to do to my 68 mag is put on a back bottle adapter like the one in the automag video. i have no holes or knock-outs that my local shop said the older versions have.

1. would it be possible to have AGD drill the holes at the tech class or super tour in nov.

2. can i drill them myself. i noticed two dimples under the A.I.R. valve and figure thats where the holes need to be drilled.

I haven't seen the automag video for about a year but if I'm not mistaken didn't they just loop a SS hose from the back bottle adapter to a SS elbow on the AIR valve.

The newer body frame's don't come predrilled. Heck even the older minimags wheren't drilled, but had partially drilled holes. The two dimples are where the holes would be. Now I might be wrong on this part, but the foregrip hole is the same type of hole as is necessary for the back bottle adapter, only you need two of em.

Drill holes

First, drill a small pilot hole in those dimples. All the way through...like an 1/8" Then you have to drill part way through the frame with a bit big enough to recess the head of the screw into the rail. Like a 3/8" bit. Finally, drill down the center with a 1/4" bit all the way through. You are now good to go...

i have a rail that already has the holes in it if you want to buy it, $15 shipped, it has been custom milled in the sides !

here is just another pic and you can see that i have reounded over the edges, all it needs is a paint or powdercoating job and it is all set, and will give you a custom look !
