problems with rt

i seem to be having some problems with my rt. i have rarely had any sort of problem until recently. after a hard adys play, i took it home and disassemled it for maintenance and cleaning. when i put it back together i now have a leak down the barrel/ thru the bolt (?). if i hold the trigger in it doesn't leak at all, and sometimes when i shoot a string it will get quieter or even stop. is my bolt sticking? powertube spacer prob? new spring? on/off pin? please help

im assuming you have a Level 7 bolt, not the new LX. if you have a LX bolt, all this is void:

since it doesnt leak when you hold the trigger in, hte on-off should be fine

its one of two things:
1) powertube oring. take hte bolt out and the powertube cap. look at the oring in there. it may be damaged. replace it

2) it could be the wrong length pwoertube spacer. change to one smaller in size

i assume its a level 7, its the one it came with. as for the spacer, its one i have been using for a awhile. guess i'll have to get a new parts kit this week. prolly need to change a few o-rings anyway

Welcome to AO!! Sounds like your power tube o-ring has decided to call it quits!! If you replace that, you should be fine!!!
