LX + loader questions and problem

ive had my micromag (old air valve 4 star) running LX for a couple weeks...after the break in period i have had no troubles...except.

on two occasions i have had loader errors that led to every ball being chopped in a string. the first was when i omitted to turn the evo 2 on, the second was when the batteries ran low.

i have done the finger test, and even taped a ball and dangled it halfway in the breech and dared it to chop dry firing...no problems. after 4 cases of paint i have had zero chops except as listed above.

my question is if i cant make it chop a ball thats halfway in the breech after dry firing on it a couple hundred times...why will it chop every time if the loader batteries are low or the loader isnt switched on???

i know the smart a$$ answer is turn the loader on and have good batteries, but aside from that why does a loose ball stack cause chops?

um, what barrel are you using?

when i ran my finger on my old rt (12vt,powerfeed,small spring LX) it did chop.

try using a bigger spring, but u said it doesnt brake the ball when u put it in with your hands so check your barrel to see if the bolt is rubbing

That does sound strange!! If you can't make it chop by dangling a ball, it shouldn't chop under other circumstances either!! could it be your hopper is breaking them?? Or if your barrel is too tight they could break down the barrel, but that is a completely different problem!!

im not posistive that it chopped...but goo shot out the barrel for 10 straight balls...and it only happened when the hopper wasnt on or was runing slow due to low batteries.

freak with 10 inch teardrop tip. no problems any other day...just when the battery is low or not on.
