    Upgrades... upgrades...

As some may know from my other thread I just started...

I just got an Automag RT Pro from paintballgear.com. Along with all of the stuff that comes stock now (intellifeed, sticky, etc.), it came with a level 10 (is that stock now?), which I was planning to get anyways.

Well, anyways, with that in mind, here are the upgrads which I plan to get.

A new barrel (Probably 2-piece J&J or something (any other suggestions?))
    A Halo Loader
    Drop down
88ci 4500psi nitro tank (BTW, what is the difference between this and this? One costs more, but why?)

Any suggestions for what else I should get?

    peace out,
    -Masa-

    Welcome to AO.

Looking at the 2 links in your post, even though the title of both say low pressure, in the descriptions one says its out put is 450psi and one says its output is 850psi. One is cheaper because it it currently on sale. The regular prices are the same.

FYI: you want the 850psi output for your RTpro or if you want an adjustable tank.

id look at the Lapco barrels. I own the two of them and can shoot any paint out there with those two. less than half the cost of most multi piece barrel systems.

      as for the tanks
the first one(189 in price) is preset to 850psi output and is the one you want. the second one($220) is preset to 450psi output and would starve your mag

Call me stupid, but are they adjustable? The tanks I was looking at, that is.

Why the HALO? Its heavy as hell and only holds 150 rounds. Try the Evolution II. Its cheaper, holds more and is a lot lighter. It keeps up without a problem on my Emag.

              I'll think about it.

Another question though, what kind of dropdown would you guys reccomend?

                I'd suggest a Drop-Forward ... I have a SYSTEM-X drop forward on my mag (image in my signature) ....

I really like it, drops it a nice distance forward, sits comfortably under my arm.

                Sincerely,
                Dave K

Er, I worded that wrong, I was gonna get a drop forward to begin with, I meant like what brand x.x.

                  Sorry for the confusion.

Its cool, just drop downs do literally just that, and forwards bring the tank in as well a little bit.

I like the System-X ones .... nice design, sturdy, not too expensive.

                    Sincerely,
                    Dave

For the dropforward, I recommend going to a store and physicaly looking at a few and getting the one that puts the tank where the gun balances well and is comfortable for you!! As for barrels, I highly recommend the Equation kit!! It is very customizable, and shoots phenomenal, their link is in my sig!! Anyway, hope this helps!!

Alright, I'll keep that in mind. Any other suggestions for barrels ($40-$100 preferrably)? Trying to get as good an idea as possible.

Try going ot www.pbreview.com and check out their barrels section .... You might also just head to the MISC ITEMS forum here and see whats for sale, your bound to find a good deal.

                          Sincerely
