    Re-anodizing an X-mag and tolerances...

If I order an x-mag, and can't it raw unano'ed, will stripping the ano, and getting it re-done affect tolerances? I'm mainly concerned about tolerances of the aluminum valve being messed up when the old ano is taken off... The aluminum valves can be re-ano'ed.. Right?

Thanks for any help I can get.

I am really close to getting(pre-ordering) one.. The hardest part will be the wait. (I abuse smilies..)

    no problem

Annodizing is like .005" thick, so no tolerance issues there, basically, there should be no issues, just make sure only the aluminum is in annodizing, as other metals will be destroyed in the process. And yes, the aluminum valve should be able to be reannodized, as long as the proceding warning is followed.
