    Curious about Revy Mod? RobAGD?

O.K. I am relatively good with elctronics (I have a degree in EE) and I have heard everyone say that you need a 12v regulator to run a revy off the mag battery. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the 12v revy already have a 12v reg to limit the 18v input from the 2 9v batteries? I haven't pulled the thing apart to look at the wiring but it would make sense that I could just run the 16v from the E-mag battery straight to the board. or have people tried this and fried boards? I would just hook it up but I don't want to fry the board if that is everyones experience is with trying that (it wouldn't surprise me, it is made by BE).

    thanks in advance

You are correct. You can run the voltage straight into the battery contacts on the revvy since the board will automatically regulate it down to 12V.

well it would only make since. your are putting 19 volts in, but only 12 comes out. Soo it is getting regulated somewhere. No matter where the voltage source comes from

No, you need to build a regulator to run the Warp off of the battery, the Revvy already has a reg built into the board!! There seems to be some confusion on the part of the person who gave you the information!!!
