Hi! I'm new to the world of paintball, and after much research and such, i decided to make my first gun a TKO automag kit. I seem to be having a few problems and i would really appreciate some help. First, after i gassed up my mag, i noticed i have a leak on the metal elbow which connects the macroline to the foregrip, which i think may be caused by a break in the seal between the elbow and the foregrip (screw like looking thing)which i think the seal to be plumbers tape (white rubberey looking stuff), anyone know how i might fix this? Second, when i first tried to field strip my mag i realized that the macroline which came on my gun is too short for me to take out the insides of the gun, unless im trying to take the gun apart wrong, but after watching the video i'm pretty sure im doing it right. So if anyone might tell me how to remove the macroline hoses so i could strip the gun, that would help. Thanks in advaned for all your help!

on your macroline, there is a little ring on the little elbow where the macroline goes into it. hold that ring back, then pull the macroline the otherway.
good choice on the gun, i started with the TKO also. -

welcome to AO, the seal is probably just plumers tape so you could probably just get some and reseal it yourself (i just used alot of it to put some of my fittings on todayComment

1: You migh have to tighen the fitting or take it off and reseal it. They are plumbers threaded so the end tapers. It should be pretty tight. You might have to put new tape on. Be careful you might scratch it if you don't take your time.
2: There should be a ring that the macro line goes through. with the gun degassed you should be able to pull the ring towards the fitting. This relaeses the little teath holdin the macro line. Once the ring is flush with the fitting pull the macro line. It should come right out. It might be a little tight since the line and fittings are new.
Hope this helps.Comment

Heya welcome to AO.
Lessee, leak by the fitting. I't sounds like you need a bit of teflon tape of threadlock to fix that. I'd recommend using the yellow gas fitting teflon before the white stuff. It does'nt shred and get little chunks of tape inside your lines and cause problems. Or use a good non-permanent threadlock and let it dry.
To take the Macro out of the fitting, push the line toward the fitting like you're trying to push it in harder. A small collar around the end of the fitting will move in tight to the fitting. The using a few fingers hold the collar tight you should be able to pull the macro out. I would eventually put a quick disconnect there, as pulling the macor in and out of the fitting will fray up the end of the macro and it could blow out on you if it gets too worn.
Also be aware that the valve is in a z groove on the rail so you'll have to twist the valve as you pull it out. A little practice and you can do this in no time. Also hold the trigger down as you pull the valve to depress the on/off. Otherwise the valve may not want to come out. Hope all this helps.
*edit* I type slow and the others beat me to it. How I hate them......

You'll have to take the rail off of the mainbody. Look inside the rail and you'll see the foregrip screw and tighten it a bit.Comment

Damn! i'v been trying to get the macroline free for a while now and still cant get it off!!!
i'v even got my brother holding down the ring and me pulling, still can't get it, anything else that may come into play here that could be preventing it from coming loose?

you can do what i did when mine was leaking. i took it to my shop and had that macroline replaced with real hose. its just my feelings but i never liked macroline.Comment

yes, do yourself a favor and get stainless steel hose instead of marcroline. its easier to work with, just put some telfon tape (plumbers tape, the white stuff) on the threads and screw it in. and stainless steel hose is safer than macroline tooSIG RULES SUCK REAL BAD AND THEYRE STUPID AND DUMB AND THEY STINK AND ARE STUPID AND I HATE THEM AND THEY SUCK REAL BADComment
