A few questions about a Used Flatline 3000...

I have a quick question here. I just picked up a used Flatline 3000, and I noticed that after I picked it up, it has a crack on one of the guages.

It has some air in it, and doesnt seem to be leaking at all from anywhere, but I am still a little worried about the Guage.

How hard is it just to replace the guage? Will the tank operate safely with the guage cracked?

Of the 2 Guages, it is the LP/Gun guage that is cracked.

Also.. is there anywhere I can find any sort of "Manual" for this tank? I looked on AGD's site but couldnt seem to locate one.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated..

    ** EDIT **

Also.. Since This is my First AGD tank for my Classic Mag... Do I need a Regulator on my Gun for this? Or can I just hook it straight up to my Gun?

And.. Is it possigle to run this Tank with, say, and Autococker? and If So, do I need a regulator there?

    Thanks.

The guage is not a problem. You can buy another one for I think say $20 (a guess).
For a mag, your output pressure should be ~800, you dont need a second regulator. You can run this tank with any other gun, but I'm not familiar with what pressure you should run for a cocker..
You shouldnt need a manual, just hook the tank up and flip the on/off switch, and make sure its at the right pressure..

So.. to replace the guage, all I have to do is empty the tank, then unscrew the guage and put a new one in it's place?

      Also... (LIke I said... I'm a N00b here.. :) ...)

To adjust the pressure on an Older 3000 Flatline, do I just use the hex Screw at the End?

      Thanks!

        Okay...

Does anyone know where I can get Replacement Guages for the Flatline?

I see the 4k guages for the 3000psi Flatline on AGD's store for $18, but they show out of stock.

Any ideas where I can get Both low and High pressure guages for it?

          bnanners,

I also bought (well, traded) for an older 3000 series flatline tank, and it had a few problems. First off, the HP guage was busted, it had a leak here and there, and the fill nipple was almost shot. I sent it off to AGD, and they "punched" one of the stars on the valve, and sent it back to me. No more leaks, all new gauges, new fill nipple, re-worked internals, and a tourny lock. All for the price of shipping to AGD.

If you're tank's old enough, and it's got enough quirks in it, I'd suggest sending it off to AGD.

If it's NOT in that bad of shape, then just grab a guage for it, and hit the fields :)

oh, and also you want MICRO gauges for your flatline tank. normal sized guages won't let the 2 guages sit side by side they way they're supposed to on the flatline tank.

check out http://www.g3pb.com they're sure to have something.

for the high pressure gauge, you can use a 5000psi gauge, and for LP, a 1200psi or 1500psi will work fine
