    Vortex Impeller

Is it normal for the sound of my revvy to change after installing this? It seems to be turning freely, just wodnering

Yes. Since the paddle no longer hits on the sides of the revy shell, it will change the sound. Notice how there's wear marks where the four blades would hit the shell? That creates a sound and now that the Vortex doesn't hit the shell it will sound different.

Yeah I just put one in yesterday and noticed that. The thing seems to spin a whole lot faster to which is nice.

Will the vortex work with a 9 volt hopper. Also will it improve the feed rate?

yeah just one screw, after you take the shell apart anyway. some ppl might be able to do without taking the shell apart. if they have a small phillips screwdriver and small hands

I have a 12v. revy w/ x board and I need a faster loader to keep up with my RT. Instead of getting a new one I might just get the vortex impellar, but before that I was wondering how much bps faster it would feed?

1-3 bps increase, but you need to get a warp

I think with the Vortex the batteries last a little longer, because you save energy with no friction.
You can bend carefully the old paddles just to not touch the shell. I did that to an old 12V and it works.
