today i got to use my LX on the field(it was awesome but i was able to force it to chop so i'll put in a shim or 2 and try the medium sprig) and about half way through the day it started leaking out the allen wrench hole on the velosity ajuster. i'm using the shortest spring, #2 carrier, and no shims and my velosity was a little under 280. it's a small leak so i was still able to play. I need help fixing the leak. any help is appreciated.

you need to go DOWN a spring. the problem is that the spring is too hard right now. the LX bolt requires more pressure to fir the marker and so when you increase the pressure so much, the mags saftey system vents it out the back
it could also be a bad piston and piston oring...check those too aswell

i have the smallest LX spring in it right now, maybe i could try the spring that came with the stock bolt. i think it mabey a seal so i'll replace everything and try gasing up when i get more air. thanks kev.Last edited by Guest; 01-05-2003, 02:49 PM.Comment
